Simon Birch Film Project

A couple of weeks ago on a Sunday, I had a very interesting day indeed!

In fact I spent that Sunday acting in Simon Birch's new film project as Matthew Barney, a famous US artist who's best known for the Cremaster Cycle and the Drawing Restraint series.

I'm sure you all know who Simon Birch is, but in case you don't I can tell you that he is an amazing artist who produces inspired and original work. Check out one of his pieces:

You can also click on his name above to check out more of his work.

At any rate, Simon has recently been invited to put together the largest private art installation in Hong Kong by Swire Properties. It will include a selection of paintings, sculptures and the very same film project which I had the pleasure of holding a small role in. Lots of other interesting people came down to get involved in the project and I thought I'd post a few photos here.

Nadia was incredibly hot as Tracy Emins

A dude I don't know, playing I don't know who with a pretty good wig

Terence as the Ryan Seacrest type character interviewing Nadia

Andy as the man Simon Birch himself

Awesome shot taken between two stairs

Me, getting my make-up put on by Vanessa Lee

Me with Mr Matthew Chung and holding a picture of Matthew Barney

The footage was shot by Derrick Fong

And Simon Yin

All pictures taken by my boy Joe Fiorello

A very fun day indeed! Make sure you check out the full art installation when it's up.
